The Trevor Ariza Tip-Off Classic begins today at Westchester High School and as usual, it’s a loaded field.
Bishop Montgomery and Narbonne starts things off at 3 p.m. in a matchup of two of the South Bay’s best teams. Peninsula and San Pedro will also be featured today.
Tuesday is a more South Bay heavy day as host Westchester, fresh off a huge win over St. John Bosco, will play at 6 p.m. and Lawndale, Serra and Morningside will also see action. Potential second round matchups include Lawndale-Serra and Westchester-Morningside.
A possible Westchester-Serra semifinal would be a must-see game Friday. The first round schedule follows as below.

Windward vs. Peninsula, 4:30 p.m.
Bishop Montgomery vs. Narbonne, 3 p.m.
Tuesday Dec. 3
Lawndale vs. Washington, 3 p.m.
Serra vs. Beverly Hills, 4:15 p.m.
Westchester vs. Hawkins, 6 p.m.
Hart vs. Morningside, 7:15 p.m.
The quarterfinals will be held on Wednesday and Thursday with semifinals Friday and the finals Saturday.
