Chris Anyiam hit the game-winning shot with six seconds left to help North Torrance seal a 70-69 overtime win over West Torrance on Friday.
Anyiam had nine points for North (11-8, 3-0), which was led by Deon Montgomery’s 15 points. Tyler Johnson added 11 points and 14 rebounds, and hit a free throw at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime.
Alex Ezeani added 11 points and Isaiah Holmes had 10 for North.
West (7-12, 1-2) was led by Noah Carroll, who had 16 points .Amiele Digma had 13 and Justin Hight added 12.
North plays at Torrance on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in a battle of unbeatens in the Pioneer League.
