Lamond Murray Jr. (Bishop Montgomery) had a game-high 21 points as the Pepperdine men’s basketball team defeated San Diego 76-58 in a West Coast Conference game on Thursday at Pepperdine.
Murray added eight rebounds for Pepperdine (12-7, 5-3), which has won five of its last six games and moved to 8-0 at home.
Murray went against fellow Bishop Montgomery alum Christian Oshita, a freshman who knocked down a 3-pointer and had two assists in 19 minutes of action off the bench for San Diego (6-12, 1-6).
