Jeremiah Headley’s activity around the rim and Ian Fox’s perimeter shooting have helped Redondo regroup following a slow start to lead College Park 22-18 at halftime in the Division II state final at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.
Fox has seven points and Headley has added six points for Redondo, which trailed 9-5 after one quarter and faced a seven-point deficit early in the second.
Redondo is shooting 8 for 31 (25.8 percent) and College Park, led by seven points from AJ Newell, is 6 for 26 (23.1 percent).
Redondo also holds a 29-15 rebounding advantage.
